Only the first 3 years a T-shirt bag was manufactured, then it was decided to switch to another market segment to be a strong competitor in industrial bags.

(2004) PEAD extruder investment

It was invested in a modern Alpha Marathon high-density coextruder machine, which allows to obtain three-meter-wide sleeve, increasing production capacity by more than 50% and developing unique mixtures to consolidate the company as experts in Bags and Sleeves / Industrial type films.

Industrias Plásticas Corvalán SA was born in Santiago in the Pedro Aguirre Cerda commune as a futuristic idea, of a successful Father as a lawyer and also in the family; He wanted to start a family business in Plastic.

This is how Corplastic SA was born, directed by Mr. Jorge Humberto Corvalán Meléndez and later his sons Jorge and Francisco. Later, his wife Maria Eriza Garcia and his daughter Loreto joined.
