Conditions and Guarantees

GUARANTEES AND CONDITIONS POLIETILENOS AGRICOLAS CORPLASTIC SA

Polyethylenes that are not stabilized (Additioned) with UV treatment DO NOT HAVE A GUARANTEE.

Hals anti-UV stabilizers have less resistance to thermal degradation and to the effect of external agents that can affect them, such as the presence of Sulfur, Chlorine, Iron, Copper, Zinc, Nickel and Titanium.

Nickel anti-UV stabilizers have greater resistance to thermo degradation and the effect of external agents such as Sulfur, Chlorine, Iron, Copper, Zinc, Nickel and Titanium.

All Polyethylenes stabilized with Anti UV present limitations against chemical agents as indicated by CEPLA: Spanish Committee of Agricultural Plastics. Those that, if present within the limits indicated below, generate the loss of any type of guarantee on Polyethylenes for Agricultural uses. Comparative table is provided later.

Cepla Standard MA-01 and MA-02 ppm (Part per Million)

If a claim is submitted, samples of the Affected Polyethylenes will be taken and sent to a Laboratory analysis which may have a delay in the delivery of results of 60 to 90 days. If it is detected that the problem is the responsibility of Corplastic SA, it will respond for the period of time remaining to comply with the time for which the product was manufactured.

Understanding that a stabilized polyethylene for one season corresponds to one year with a maximum duration of 8 to 12 months and that a stabilized polyethylene for two seasons corresponds to two years with a maximum duration of 18 to 24 months.
When we consider the times corresponding to the Duration Seasons, there is a time difference according to the month of the year in which the Film is installed. Understanding that 50% of the UV radiation that enters the Southern Hemisphere occurs between the months of December to March, when installing a Polyethylene in December its useful life is being reduced, which in extreme cases can be reduced by 50% or 6 months. Another degradation agent is that of physical contact with wood or metal that is without adequate protection, which is out of warranty, this is due to the fact that resins and chemical products prematurely degrade these specific areas.
Note: It is recommended to paint the contact areas with white water-based enamel or to paint them in polyethylene.

If the client is not satisfied with the results obtained in the laboratory, he is free to send for analysis at his own cost where he deems most convenient.

Corplastic SA, will point out to the client, other alternatives of Laboratories.

Any Canal or gutter that does not have at least a drainage slope of 2% is out of warranty because the accumulation of water generates a prism that helps premature degradation of the area in which it is located. This phenomenon occurs with Polyethylenes stabilized with Hals and with Nickel.

We recommend NOT to install the Polyethylene in the Greenhouse during the hours of maximum heat, since the Film softens and stretches. Polyethylene has what we call memory, so during the Night it contracts to its initial position, which causes a tension that can damage the Greenhouse.

Corplastic SA is an ISO 9001: 2008 Certified company, which guarantees excellence in its Manufacturing processes and the Quality of its products.
